Chelsea have confirmed a fresh commercial partnership that will see their shirts carry a new sponsor logo for the first time this season, with the change set to debut in this weekend's Premier League fixture against Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
The west London club announced on Friday that Circle Internet Group, Inc., the American financial technology firm behind the USDC stablecoin, has been appointed as Chelsea's principal partner and shirt sponsor from the 2026/27 campaign onward. The branding, styled as "USDC by Circle," will appear in gold text across the front of the men's, women's and academy team kits, aligning with the gold detailing already found on the club crest, the Nike logo and the Club World Cup winners' badge currently worn by the senior squad.
Xabi Alonso's side will be the first to wear the new sponsor when they take to the pitch this Sunday against Brighton, marking the end of a period in which Chelsea competed without a settled long-term shirt partner.
Circle, founded in New York in 2013 by Jeremy Allaire and Sean Neville, describes itself as a leader in the digital asset space. USDC, the company's flagship product, is a regulated stablecoin designed to function as a digital dollar, allowing for fast, round-the-clock global transactions.
