Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal are reportedly exploring the possibility of luring both Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins away from their current clubs, according to the latest round of transfer gossip circulating across European football.

Representatives for England captain Kane, 33, have reportedly held discussions with Al-Hilal, and the Bayern Munich forward is said to be open to a future switch to the Saudi Pro League. While no concrete move appears imminent, the talks suggest Al-Hilal are keen to add one of the Premier League's most prolific goalscorers of the past decade to their ranks at some stage.

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, 29, is understood to have gone a step further, having reportedly agreed personal terms with Al-Hilal. However, the Saudi outfit have yet to lodge an official transfer offer with Villa, meaning any deal remains some way from completion. Watkins has been a key figure for Unai Emery's side and any departure would represent a significant blow to Villa's attacking options.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Newcastle United have reportedly initiated exploratory talks with Manchester City regarding a potential move for Spanish midfielder Nico Gonzalez, 24. The Magpies appear to be assessing their options in midfield as they continue to strengthen their squad depth.

Sunderland's proposed £25.7 million move for Toulouse defender Dayann Methalie could be in jeopardy after concerns emerged from the France Under-21 international's medical examination. The 20-year-old's transfer to the Stadium of Light now hangs in the balance pending further assessment.

In other Premier League news, Coventry City have seen an £8.5 million bid rejected by AC Milan for England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, 30, as the Sky Blues look to bolster their midfield options.

West Ham United's Mexican international Edson Alvarez, 28, has attracted interest from Real Sociedad, with reports suggesting Ajax have cooled their previous pursuit of the midfielder.

Ipswich Town have had a second offer turned down by Bayer Leverkusen for Argentine midfielder Exequiel Palacios, 27, as the Tractor Boys continue their efforts to bring in reinforcements.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain and Ukraine defender Illia Zabarnyi, 23, following the departure of Cristian Romero to Atletico Madrid. Spurs appear to be actively seeking a replacement in central defence after losing the Argentine.

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, 25, remains firmly on Inter Milan's radar, with the Serie A giants believed to be confident that a bid in the region of 35 million euros (£29 million) could be enough to secure his signature.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have entered the chase for Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, 21, joining Rangers and his former loan club Bolton Wanderers in the race for the England Under-20 international's signature.

Finally, Spanish side Malaga are reportedly pursuing English winger Ryan Kent, 29, who has been without a club since departing Seattle Sounders back in January.
