Premier League clubs remain busy in the transfer market despite the summer window having closed, with several deals and rumours emerging across the division as attention turns towards January.
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of teenage striker Vincent Joseph from Liverpool, with the England Under-16 international agreeing first-year scholarship terms at the Emirates Stadium. Joseph turned down a similar offer from his former club, having spent nine years within Liverpool's youth system and impressed at Under-18 level last season. The Gunners are also said to hold a strong interest in Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, though the Cherries are expected to demand a significant fee for any January move. Kroupi is currently out with injury but is anticipated to return before the year is out.
Elsewhere, Arsenal have also been linked with Real Madrid's Rodrygo, Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, and long-term target Julian Alvarez, who is reportedly looking to change representation. On the defensive front, Arsenal have moved to shut down speculation over midfielder Martin Zubimendi, insisting there is no intention of letting him leave in January despite reported interest from both Chelsea and Real Madrid. Zubimendi has shown his versatility this season, having featured at right-back during the League Cup tie against Ipswich.
Manchester United, meanwhile, find themselves embroiled in one of the more unusual sagas of the season involving 15-year-old academy sensation JJ Gabriel. The youngster reportedly requested that his registration at Old Trafford be cancelled with immediate effect, a stunning development that came just days before he could have made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup tie against Brighton. United are still hopeful of resolving the situation, but reports suggest several of Europe's biggest clubs are already positioning themselves to take advantage should Gabriel depart. United have also been linked with a move for Real Madrid youngster Endrick.
Liverpool's business is also generating headlines. The Merseyside club have reportedly been informed that Rayan will not be sold for anything less than his £130million release clause, according to ESPN Brazil, who state that the winger's relationship with manager Andoni Iraola will not influence any potential discount. Liverpool have also been credited with interest in Monaco's Lamine Camara, while Bayern Munich reportedly hope to bring Florian Wirtz back to Germany. Additionally, Liverpool are said to be among a group of English clubs, alongside Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Hull City, monitoring Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour, who has made 62 appearances for the Italian club since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in February.
At Chelsea, the club are expected to pursue a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, with Bournemouth's Alex Scott tipped as a leading candidate. Chelsea have also been mentioned, alongside Arsenal and Manchester City, as one of several Premier League sides monitoring Roma forward Donyell Malen, who has scored 21 goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances since his move from Aston Villa to Serie A.
At Tottenham, winger Mikey Moore has joined FC Koln on loan after starting the season as Spurs' first-choice right winger. Moore said he was excited about the switch to Germany, where he hopes to secure more regular playing time. Before departing, he scored twice against Hoffenheim and also netted in Spurs' 5-1 League Cup victory over Charlton. Tottenham are also reportedly keen on appointing Piero Ausilio as their new sporting director ahead of the January window, while Everton appear unlikely to reignite their interest in Richarlison, whose contract at Spurs expires next summer, following the collapse of a proposed summer move.
Finally, former Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia is reportedly training with MLS side FC Cincinnati on trial, as he continues his search for a new club after leaving Old Trafford as a free agent.
