Galatasaray have opened talks over a potential summer move for Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli, submitting a bid worth 45 million euros (£38.4m) for the 25-year-old Brazilian, according to reports.
Martinelli has been a regular feature for the Gunners since his breakthrough at the club, but interest from Turkey suggests Arsenal's hierarchy may be willing to sanction a significant departure this summer as they look to reshape their squad.
That potential sale could be accompanied by another notable exit from the Emirates Stadium. Spain international Martin Zubimendi is reportedly available for at least £77m, with Chelsea understood to be strong contenders for his signature. The 27-year-old midfielder has become an important figure in Arsenal's engine room, and losing him would represent a major shift in Mikel Arteta's plans, though the north London club appear open to a deal at the right price.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Aston Villa have entered discussions with West Ham over a possible move for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 28-year-old DR Congo international, who left Manchester United for West Ham, is valued at around £25m and would provide Unai Emery with additional defensive depth.
Villa are also pursuing a midfield reinforcement, having offered Bayern Munich a loan deal with an option to buy for Portugal international Joao Palhinha. The 31-year-old has struggled for regular minutes since his move to the Bundesliga, but Bayern are said to prefer a permanent sale rather than a temporary arrangement.
Newcastle United continue to push forward with their pursuit of Benfica right-back Amar Dedic. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international, 23, is valued at approximately £25m and would add competition and depth to Eddie Howe's defensive options on Tyneside.
The Magpies are also being linked with a move for Brighton's Cameroon international Carlos Baleba, with the 22-year-old midfielder seen as a possible long-term replacement for Bruno Guimaraes or Sandro Tonali should either of Newcastle's Brazilian or Italian midfielders depart in the future.
Meanwhile, Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock could be heading in the opposite direction out of English football. The 26-year-old is reportedly open to a switch to Besiktas, with a fee in the region of 20 million euros (£17m) potentially enough to convince Newcastle to sanction the sale.
Down in the Championship, Hull City are working on multiple fronts. The Tigers are confident of completing a deal for Augsburg midfielder Mert Komur, a 21-year-old German, despite having an initial £10.2m offer turned down by the Bundesliga club. Hull are also closing in on the permanent signing of striker Joe Gelhardt from Leeds United. The 24-year-old Englishman spent the last two seasons on loan at the MKM Stadium and appears set to make the move a permanent one.
Ipswich Town, meanwhile, are poised to finalise the arrival of Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg. The 20-year-old Ivory Coast-born full-back and midfielder is expected to add versatility to the Suffolk club's squad as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
With the transfer window continuing to generate significant activity across the Premier League and Championship, further confirmations on these deals are expected in the coming days as clubs finalise their squads.
