West Ham Complete £5m Swoop for Winger Manor Solomon

West Ham United have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Israel international winger Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur, the club confirmed on Monday evening.

The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on an initial three-year deal, with an option to extend for a further year, in a move reported to be worth around £5 million up front, with an additional £2 million possible in add-ons. Spurs are also said to have negotiated a 10 per cent sell-on clause as part of the agreement.

Solomon becomes the third permanent addition to the Hammers' squad this summer, following the arrivals of Keiber Lamadrid and Joel Veltman, as the club prepares for life in the Championship after relegation ended a run of Premier League football stretching back to the 2011-12 season. He will wear the number 10 shirt at his new club.

The winger arrives at the London Stadium having spent last season on loan at Fiorentina in Italy, where he made 19 appearances. His time at Tottenham, which he joined in 2023, also included loan spells at Leeds United and Spanish outfit Villarreal, meaning he has yet to fully establish himself in north London.

Speaking after finalising his move, Solomon expressed his excitement at joining a club he views as having significant pedigree in English and European football.
