The teenager's rise has extended beyond club football, with Bernard already representing England at Under-16 level. He has netted four times in eight caps for his country, underlining the goalscoring instincts that have made him one of the most sought-after young talents in English youth football.
At Arsenal, Bernard is expected to be eased into the next stage of his development.
