Liverpool Complete £123m Signing of Bradley Barcola from PSG

Liverpool have finalised the signing of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris St-Germain in a deal that could rise to £123m, adding further firepower to Andoni Iraola's squad as the summer transfer window nears its close.

The transfer was confirmed on Monday, with Liverpool paying an initial guaranteed fee of £106m, with a further £17m in potential add-ons pushing the total to £123m. That figure includes a solidarity payment owed by PSG to Lyon, Barcola's former club, as part of the deal that took him to Paris in 2023. PSG had initially wanted around £145m for the 23-year-old before Liverpool negotiated the fee down.

Barcola has put pen to paper on a five-year contract, becoming the fifth new face at Anfield this summer, following the arrivals of Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe. He also ranks as Liverpool's second-most costly signing in the club's history, behind only Alexander Isak.
