Friday's transfer rumour mill has thrown up a host of intriguing links across Europe, with Arsenal reportedly casting an eye over Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz as clubs across the continent begin plotting their next moves.
According to reports, Arsenal are exploring the possibility of signing the 21-year-old Turkey international, who has established himself as a key attacking option for the Italian giants. The Gunners' interest comes amid a broader wave of activity involving Premier League and European clubs.
At the other end of a potential swap in fortunes, Atletico Madrid are said to be working to finalise a deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson. The 25-year-old Senegal forward has been the subject of Spanish reporting suggesting the Madrid outfit are close to completing the move.
Manchester City, meanwhile, are reportedly in discussions to sign Brazilian winger Allan Elias, 22, from Palmeiras, as Pep Guardiola's side continue to strengthen their options in wide areas. City have also made an enquiry for Crystal Palace and England midfielder Adam Wharton, though that approach is understood to have been turned down by the Eagles, who are keen to retain the 22-year-old.
Elsewhere in London, Tottenham are reported to be considering a move for Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. The 29-year-old France international has been a reliable source of goals for Palace and would represent a significant addition to Spurs' forward line.
Italian sources suggest Arsenal could also be busy on the outgoing front, with Inter Milan reportedly showing interest in Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli, 25. Meanwhile, AC Milan are said to have shifted their transfer focus toward strengthening at centre-back, with Manchester City and Portugal defender Ruben Dias, 29, emerging as a name under consideration.
In the market for defensive reinforcements, Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle are all reportedly showing interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Burkina Faso centre-back Edmond Tapsoba, 27, who has emerged as a leading target for clubs looking to bolster their back lines.
Crystal Palace look set to add further depth in defence, too, with France international Axel Disasi, 28, reportedly closing in on a loan move from Chelsea.
In Spain, Barcelona have not yet lodged a formal offer for Inter Milan's Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez, and reports suggest the Italian club would resist any approach regardless. Barca are said to be weighing up alternative options in Villarreal duo Ayoze Perez, 33, and Georgia forward Georges Mikautadze, 25.
Further afield, Liverpool, Everton and Leeds United are reportedly among clubs monitoring Midtjylland winger Dario Osorio, a 22-year-old Chile international attracting attention from across the Premier League.
Chelsea's Liam Delap, 23, could also be on the move, with Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest said to be considering approaches for the English striker.
Finally, Manchester United are reportedly prioritising the signing of a new left-back, with Racing Santander's 19-year-old Spanish full-back Jorge Salinas mentioned as a candidate. The interest comes as Newcastle appear unwilling to part with England left-back Lewis Hall, 21.
